This episode is da-bomb! Amanda White is chatting with Kaylor this week and it is a really cool conversation! Amanda shares her story and the work she is doing as a therapist which stems from her own life experiences and journey.

 

Amanda is a licensed therapist and shares that a large part of therapy being effective is the relationship you have with your therapist and how comfortable you feel with them. Kaylor shares his experiences with therapy and they talk about the therapist/patient relationship dynamic and the shared parallels with coaching.

 

Amanda and Kaylor discuss alcohol, how it works as a depressant and the anxiety it induces for many people the morning after drinking. They also get into being strategic about drinking if someone wants to have a drink. There’s a lot of great information here for anything looking to improve their relationship with alcohol and substance dependency. They also discuss loneliness, types of loneliness and ultimately managing it! They get into the practice of being mindful, the importance of sleep and tips to improve sleep quality.
